Welcome:

Here you will find the somewhat random musings of a pediatrician in Watkinsville, Georgia. Some of my posts will involve medical topics, some political (maybe), and some spiritual. I will probably throw in an occasional comment about UGA athletics, or some other sports-related topic, as well.

Fatal Inheritance

I was recently reading an article about cystic fibrosis which stated that it was the most common fatal inherited disorder among caucasians.  It struck me that this is not true, at least not spiritually speaking.  The most common fatal inherited disorder among caucasians and among all other races, for that matter, is sin.   Its incidence is one hundred percent.  We are all born with an inheritance of death that can only be healed by faith in Jesus Christ.

Ps 51:5   Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,  And in sin my mother conceived me.

Rom 3:23     for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Rom 6:23   For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rom 5:19   For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One athe many will be made righteous.
